GTO Trainer · Texas Hold'em decision practice

Practise Hold'em decisions and see what each one is worth.

Play full hands or drill one spot at a time. Every decision is graded in big blinds of EV — by Monte Carlo against a villain range that narrows street by street, or by solver-style preflop charts — with a plain-English reason for each option. Cash and tournaments with ICM, 2–9 players, English and 中文. Training only — no real money.

200Table formats: 2–9 players × cash or MTT × stack × stage
19Hand-tuned 6-max preflop charts

GTO Trainer grading a flop decision: an EV table for raise, call and fold with the pot-odds explanation

01 The problem

Studying poker strategy usually means expensive software, or charts with no explanations.

01

Solvers are slow and expensive

Desktop solvers cost hundreds of dollars and take minutes per spot — and you still have to know which spots to run.

02

Charts don't tell you why

A preflop chart says "fold". It doesn't say how much the other options lose, or what changes on the bubble.

03

Results hide mistakes

Win a pot with a bad call and it feels right. Without EV, you learn from luck instead of decisions.

02 Features

EV grading

Every option, priced in big blinds

Best, Good, Inaccuracy or Blunder — with the reason

What it does — after each decision, the Analysis panel shows the EV of every option, how often the villain folds, calls or raises, your equity against the range that takes each action, and the pot odds you needed.

  • Options within simulation noise of the best are tagged "≈best" and count as correct
  • Pot-odds prompt on every call: "Call X to win Y · need Z% equity"
  • Minimum-defence-frequency and ICM tips where they matter
  • Hand summary separates the result (luck) from the EV you lost (your control)
Preflop & spot drills

Drill exactly the spot you're weak in

Preflop charts, postflop spots, push/fold and 3-way pots

What it does — preflop drills grade you against chart frequencies and show the full 13×13 grid with your hand highlighted. The postflop spot filter deals only the situations you pick — for example "Flop · Facing a bet · Middle pair".

  • Spot filter by street, situation, hand strength and pot type (single-raised, 3-bet, multiway)
  • Earlier streets are auto-played so you land in the spot you asked for
  • Push/fold below 12bb, 3-bet-or-jam between 13bb and 25bb, deep play above that
  • Drills favour mixed and borderline hands — the ones worth practising
Stats & review

Find your leaks, then fix them

Accuracy and EV loss by street, situation, hand, pot, position and game

What it does — every graded decision feeds your stats. "Work on these first" lists your three weakest areas, and the Mistakes log lets you redo each one.

  • Six breakdowns: street, situation, hand strength, pot type, position and game
  • Redo mistakes one by one, or all in order
  • Export hand histories (.txt) and decisions (.csv, opens correctly in Excel)
  • A status bar of your last 16 decisions, using shapes as well as colours
Stealth mode & 中文

Looks like work. Speaks two languages.

An IDE disguise with a boss key, and a full Chinese interface

What it does — stealth mode restyles the trainer as an IntelliJ-style Java project — practice modes become .java files — and Esc flips to a page of fake code. Switch the whole app between English and 中文 at any time.

  • Dark (Darcula) and light (IntelliJ Light) themes
  • Keyboard first: F fold, C check/call, 1–5 bet sizes, R raise, A all-in, Esc boss key
  • Colour-blind-safe palette: orange and blue, never red against green
  • Language follows your browser on first visit, then remembers your choice

05 FAQ

Is this a solver?

No — it's a GTO-style practice tool. It approximates solver strategy with hand-tuned charts and a fast model, so every decision can be graded instantly in the browser.

Where do the preflop charts come from?

6-max 100bb cash uses 19 hand-tuned, solver-style charts. Other table sizes, stack depths and tournament stages use ranges generated for that format.

Does it cover tournaments?

Yes: stacks from 10bb to 100bb, push/fold and 3-bet-jam regimes, and bubble and final-table stages with ICM.

Can I use it in Chinese?

Yes. The whole interface, explanations and exports switch between English and 中文.

What is stealth mode?

An optional look that makes the trainer resemble a Java IDE, with Esc as a boss key that shows a page of code.

Is my data uploaded?

Never. The app makes no network requests at all.
